Searches – Global Air Title will quickly perform title searches for your aviation assets.  This service is essential in revealing liens or other encumbrances of record that may conflict with your perceived ownership interest.

Clearing – Global Air Title will investigate and diligently work resolve liens or encumbrances that may cloud title.

Filing – Global Air Title provides assistance for those parties who desire to transfer or clear title of the their aviation assets by timely filing the necessary documentation with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Global Air Title serves as escrow agent for aviation transactions.  As such, we will act as a neutral third party repository to hold funds and documents to be released at closing.  In every phase of the transaction, we will provide timely updates to our customers.  All parties will be notified and advised on received or outstanding documents, and transaction funds.  As directed, Global Air Title will expeditiously file closing documents and release funds to finalize the aviation transaction. 

The Cape Town Treaty and International Registry of Mobile Assets (the “Cape Town Treaty”) provides for a priority of interest on a first to file basis.  That means that your interests in a mobile asset may not be perfected in the eyes of the the Signatory Parties of the Cape Town Treaty until its registered with the International Registry (“IR”).  Global Air Title will act as an administrator on behalf of entities who desire to register their mobile assets with the IR.  Whether your aircraft is a domestic or international asset, filing with the IR is generally the right thing to do to protect your interest.
